In the world, 2 out of 3 people had suffered from depression at some point in their lifetime so I want to share with you the whole depression treatment so you don’t have to go through that.

Before we get into the treatment you should know that it’s easy to get depressed and that depression can come in different paths but I really don’t care what is your case because the treatment will be the same. So my main focus is that you apply this whole treatment.

You should know that our entire life is connected and that each area can influence others. That’s why I work with holistic treatments because in this way I can cover all areas and also integrate them.

Knowing this, let’s start.

Whole treatment for depression

I have decided to break this treatment in the 3 areas that compose our life. I recommend you to check one by one so you can get a whole recovery.


I had found that this area is underrated so from now on I will add it in the treatments.

In this area, I will share some advice and verses from the bible that will make a big difference in your life.

S-1 Control your thoughts

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. – Philippians 4.8 NKJV

S-2 You’re not alone

And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.” – Deuteronomy 31.8 NKJV

S-3 God listen to you

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears,
And delivers them out of all their troubles. – Psalm 34.17 NKJV

S-4 Control your emotions

Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God;
For I shall yet praise Him,
The help of my countenance and my God. – Psalm 42.11 NKJV

S-5 Help others

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. – 2 Corinthians 1.3-4 NKJV

S-6 Keep on

Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. – Isaiah 41.10 NKJV


For this area, I have a lot to tell you so I recommend you to take note of the most important parts that apply to you so you can keep them handy.

S-1 Motivate

Don’t wait for someone to motivate you because that might not happen. Whenever you have thoughts of demotivation that’s when you have to talk to yourself and motivate yourself with positive words like “I can do this”, “It’s easy for me”, “nothing is impossible” and so on.

We usually search for motivation on external sources but those things are temporary. That’s why we should be capable of motivating ourselves, so start doing it.

S-2 Purpose

We all have a purpose in life. It could be something in general or something specific. For example, I know that my purpose in life is to help others with their health but my purpose at this moment is to write my own book.

I don’t have kids but if you do, then your kids might be your purpose. I mean, they should be the reason for you to fight and give your best in life.

So with purpose, I mean that thing that fires your passion. Now is time for you to think what is your purpose in life.

S-3 Positive

Being positive is kind of obvious to treat depression. But still is good to have this reminder time by time, especially in the darkest moments of our life. Your thoughts are going to determinate the way that you act, so with a positive attitude, you will able to overcome everything.

If you have a negative thought or any other thought that affect your mood, is an alert for you to start developing positive thoughts.

By the way, is really important for you to avoid self-criticism, self-disqualification, and self-pity.

S-4 Thoughts

When we think a lot about something it can overload our emotions. If that is your case then you should take a break to breathe deeply and also stop thinking. Just leave your mind empty and experience the moment with your senses. By being more relaxed you will recover your strength and also your mood.

S-5 People

It’s completely true. Some people can be a big problem in our life, but don’t take me wrong. This doesn’t mean that you should blame others. What I say is that you should take a decision and determinate which kind of people you want to be surrounded with.

People that don’t have anything good to offer you might induce you into the depression so because of that you should reorganize your list of contacts. Surround with positive and energetic people.

S-6 Perspective

Have you seen other people’s problems and think that those are so dumb or easy to solve?

Well, yours might be dumb too. Sometimes we get so locked into the problem that we don’t see how stupid it is. That’s why perspective is so important.

In other words, determinate your goal so you don’t lose time on little things that come up through your path. Your goal will be the bigger perspective that you need.

S-7 Passion

I know that I started talking about this, but it’s really important to get free from depression so take your time to determinate your passion.

Passion is not related to your emotions. Because passion is what will keep you working if you are happy or sad. Doesn’t matter your mood, passion will maintain your focus on doing the things that you have to do.

So passion will be your motor to keep on.


Now, this is my specialty and something that I’m passionate about because a lot of people think that mental health doesn’t have any relation with physical health. But as I said in the beginning, even though we’re divided into several areas all of these are connected.

So your physical health can affect your mental and spiritual health.

B-1 Do exercise

I know that when you’re depressed the last thing you want to do is to work out. But that’s the problem with depression because since you’re not in the mood to do certain things like exercise you will never feel better.

So to break this cycle of depression you have to make an effort to do exercise which will improve your mood and your energy levels. Sports are even better because other people can improve your experience and make you feel better.

Another thing to remember is to breathe deeply because it’s the most important part of an exercise. Air is the most important nutrient for life and for a healthier brain.

B-2 Drink water

Water is great for your metabolism so it will make you feel better in several ways. That’s why it is so important on a daily basis. So, I recommend you to drink a glass of water when you wake up in the morning, another before you go to sleep and obviously each time you do exercise.

B-3 Nutrition

Since I started talking about water, let’s continue with nutrition in general. For this, you should follow this [nutritional guide].

I want to highlight the consumption of cereal, quinoa, kiwi, oats, and nuts.

B-4 Don’t skip breakfast

As you would see in the [nutritional guide], it’s very important to have breakfast, especially with easy to digest foods. Starting with fruit like banana or papaya will make the difference for the rest of the day.

Never skip breakfast and always eat clean foods like oats and fruits.

B-5 Don’t stay up too late at night

If you affect your natural resting cycle then you’ll feel more tired and even with a bad mood during the day. That will lead to depression.

Is really important to respect your sleeping hours and to develop this as a habit. When you are going to sleep avoid any electronic device. I recommend you to read a book that can induce your sleep and so to rest better.

You should have your last meal of the day 2-3 hours before your bedtime. Otherwise eating late will make you sleep late.

B-6 Cold Water Friction

This is a treatment developed to clean and regulate your body functions. That will help you a lot with depression.

Apply this friction when you wake up in the morning. Also after exercise or after any other physical activity.

B-7 Sitz Bath

When you have digestive problems it won’t be enough to eat clean food. You will also have to improve the functions of your digestive system organs. And that’s when Sitz Bath comes in.

Apply it once per day and ideally at midday.

B-8 Mud

This is the best treatment to improve the digestive system’s functions.

Apply the mud to the abdomen until it dries. You can apply it before bedtime and remove it in the next morning.

Depression is a very common disease that a lot of people try to treat without any luck. I had cases of patients that were not willing to do anything because in their mindset there’s nothing that could help them.
